What is local produce?

Seasonality of fresh Connecticut-grown produce

Field crops are grown at different times of the year, as is determined by the needs of the plant and its temperature preferences.  As a CSA member, you will experience what it means to eat seasonally. All of our produce is USDA certified organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers. You can put trust and faith in what we grow and how we grow it. We are the only certified organic farm in the town of Columbia.
